Prof. Muhamed Ajanović is the Dean of the School of Dental Medicine at the University of Sarajevo, where he leads all aspects of the school's operations, educational curriculum, clinical programmes, faculty, and student services — one of the most senior academic positions in dental education in the region. A specialist in Prosthodontics, Prof. Ajanović holds a Master's in Dental Implantology from Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine, New York, and has served as Visiting Assistant Professor at New York University in the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology, Radiology and Medicine. He holds an Instructor Certificate in Dental Implantology from IFZI Nürnberg, Germany, and has completed advanced training in Digital Smile Design (DSD) in St. Moritz, Switzerland, and a Master Course in Esthetic Implant Dentistry in Bern, Switzerland. He is a Member of the Croatian Chamber of Dental Medicine with a diploma certification in Croatia, and has published more than 60 original scientific works in the field of dentistry, alongside six books in dental medicine, making him one of the most published dental academics in the region.
